“ What a cool place. If you love seafood this is where you MUST go. Simply gorgeous and cool place, seemingly suspended among trees, with a sexy vibe from sunup to sundown. The main room is airy and cozy with a gigantic art piece and the trees all around. Service is very attentive and they always have some great recommendations. Personal favourites are the crab salad and chocolate tamales. ”
“ One of our favorite restaurants in Mexico City that we’ve been to multiple times. We prefer it to Contramar and it’s a lot easier to get a reservation. The tostada de atun, kampachi tartar, sweet potato (surprisingly incredible), and meringue are insanely good. My wife often daydreams about the meringue . ”
“ Wonderful experience. The restaurant is beautiful, drinks were delicious and strong, and the octopus was a highlight! Only wish it was slightly less salty. The ceviche was also great too. Only wish the sauce was slightly less thick. The service was lovely too. Very attentive. I agree with a previous patron that perhaps maybe too quick to the table, although his review was unnecessarily rude. This is how fine dining usually is, if you prefer, McDonald’s is always another option if you want to be ignored by the staff. They just almost cleared several places before we were ready. We wanted to finish the delicious food! But they were lovely, professional, informative, and kind. ”

“ Best meal in CDMX after Pujol. We had the tuna tostadas, tempura fried vegetables, risotto, and the special Contramar fish. Each one was prepared perfectly and can't decide which was my favorite. Loved the ambience too, which was sort of artsy/bohemian and not too formal. Highly recommend, especially if you can't get into Contramar. ”
“ Lord have mercy on my soul! Every single aspect of our experience was absolutely incredible. From the insanely high quality food, to attentive and friendly service, to the beautiful ambience - Caracol de Mar stands out in a city of stars. I’d recommend ordering as much as you can, their entire menu was enticing. We went with a group of six and ordered as much as we could and we were still left wanting to try more. Their tuna ceviche, shrimp crudo, and sea bass were all noteworthy. There also very impressive non-seafood options as well, though obviously the focus is on fresh out the ocean delights. In comparison to dining experiences in the US, the bill was incredibly affordable. For a meal that would typical coat 125 a person in certain parts of America, we paid 70 each. Highly recommend for your visit to CDMX if you are looking for a high end, delicious Mexican spun seafood experience. ”
